Welcome to the newest edition of the Oracle site, Weekend Jeopardy. You all know how the TV show game works and I figured it would be interesting (and maybe fun) to do future weekend recaps this way. I'll include some from W-F as well, given I was out of town. Here we go:

A: After the last Packers (who by the way got an 11.7% increase in revenue last year, still at 10th in the NFL overall) minicamp, this DB has the inside track to start opposite Al Harris at the other CB spot by making good plays and showing excellent, penalty-free coverage and could be the biggest key in making Jim Bates' defensive scheme work.
Q: Who is Joey Thomas? Correct
A: Arguably the best clutch performer in NBA Finals history, one of this site's favorite basketball players, overall outstanding hustle guy and holds the NBA Finals record for most career 3 pointers.
Q: Who is Robert Horry? Correct
A: This team's pitching staff has the #3 ranking in the NL (7 overall) of 3.82 ERA, #1 (3) of .244 BAA and #5 (13) 1.34 WHIP and is the sole reason this team is even within sniffing distance of a .500 record, despite a slightly below average offense.

A: Craig and Shane saw this outstanding movie at the Mall of America on Saturday night while their wives went around shopping.

A: This team plays a pivotal contest tonight to move up to 3rd place in the division standings, and whose recaps on Tuesdays are more anticipated for than the winner of The Amazing Race?

Horry is certainly in the conversation. There's a guy who played in Chicago that wasn't bad, either, but damn, Horry has hit some big shots.
I cannot think of a guy who I would rather take a clutch 3 pointer more than Horry, even that guy in Chicago. Horry just amazes me at the solid defense, rebounding and phenominal shooting he has done his whole career. He deserves to be in the HOF, IMO.
You're on a ranting roll today PMM! I love Horry, always been one of my favorite players. Yes, he virtually does disappear during the season, but when the superstars on his team start failing in the playoffs, he becomes the cavalry and simply elevates his game about 5 levels and shows others what it means to be a big-time, big-game player. He did it in Houston, LA and now SA. The man is going to have 6 rings, and it's not because he is riding anyone's coattails. He carries his weight and picks up his team's superstars weight when they most need it as well.
Thomas is becoming a very nice surprise and if he can keep up this level of playing ability come the regular season, a lot of naysayers are going to be eating crow.
