Who pissed in Javon's Cheerios?

Well this is just ducky, Javon Walker has come out and says that he wants to be traded. Apparently his is still pissed that the Packers wouldn't give him a new contract last season and is taking shots at everyone.

"I just don't feel like this is the best place for me to be right now," said Walker, whose relationship with the organization remains fractured following the team's refusal last summer to renegotiate his contract and public criticism at his expense by Favre. "I really have no interest in being in a Green Bay Packers uniform or playing for Green Bay again."

Citing recent contract squabbles with running back Ahman Green, tight end Bubba Franks, defensive lineman Grady Jackson and cornerback Mike McKenzie, as well as his own, Walker added, "I just don't like the way the organization runs itself. They want players to come up there and play hard and work hard, but when it comes time to be compensated, it's like, 'We forgot what you've done.'"

But Walker, a four-year veteran, says that money is not the issue at this point.

He cites how he percieves the Packers paying people as his main point of contention. But money is not the issue.

He held out for some of training camp last year as he was mad about his contract, but money is not the issue.

"I'm not going to grandstand," Walker said. "I just want the Packers to give me peace of mind."

Sure you're not going to grandstand, that's why you're going public with your whining and saying you'll retire rather than play for the Packers.

Problem is the Pack cannot get much for him, a 2nd rounder at best given his injury that he suffered leaves legitimate questions about his current ability. Apparently, Javon thinks this injury should have no bearing on a huge contract given to him. FSU has to do a better job of edumacating their players.

This situation changes the Packers FA and draft strategy as the WR corps is virtually non-existant given Murphy's career is over. We'll see what TT is going to do about this and hopefully the Packers can get something good out of shipping his greedy, non-team centered ass out.

On a final note, I must apologize to Drew Rosenhaus as it is pretty clear that he was not behind the whole "new contract for Javon" thing last year. Sorry Drew.
