It's been a while

Back from the man weekend where the manners mattered little, Cokes were plentiful, and a 52" TV was enjoyed by all while seated on leather recliners. Now, onto everyone's favorite topic, Stacy Keibler! Or perhaps WI sports instead.

Badgers
Bucky exits without much of a fight in the first round of the NCAA tourney. Wow, I have to say I'm shocked as hell. (please note the sarcasm here) Rumor is that everyone but Ray Nixon is coming back. Tucker is not good enough or has shown enough that he can go pro. Next season looks promising, assuming the players can read and write (hear me Steimsma and Landry?).

Bucks
Actually playing well (except for that embarrassing game in Toronto) and have climbed to #7 in the playoff seedings. Whoo Hoo! They've earned the right to get their asses handed to them by Miami in the first round! If that doesn't get your juices running nothing will. Odd thing is, if they can put together a solid end of the season run, they could conceivably end up the #4 seed as they are only 4 games out of that spot. Riiiiiiiiight.

Packers
Here's the bright spot of the bunch. TT was able to sign Ryan Pickett, who is pretty much a younger, faster version of Grady Jackson, with 90% less whiny bitch added. Excellent signing to bolster the DL. Love how TT simply told Grady where he could take his attitude by saying absolutely nothing. Rod Gardner re-signed as well and was desperately needed to bolster the WR corps. He should come through as a solid #3 WR for the team. William Henderson visited the Vikings just to see for himself what a joke of a team they are first-hand, then signed back with the Packers. Rumor was he was still giggling about what he witnessed there when signing his deal here.

Granted, TT only signed 1 of the 3 guys I originally earmarked in FA, but we didn't have a shot at 2 of them anyway. Oh well. They may not sign another big name guy (outside of Viniteri) and likely will continue their methodical approach of not wanting to overpay for the current FA group out there. Likely scenario is that middle-of-the-road FAs will get signed for lower costs and bettering the overall depth of the roster.

What, not even a weigh-in after that weekend of gluttony and sloth? I want to hear about the ugly post-mortem.
