Now that Kurt Schottenheimer has been fired as the DB coach for the Pack and Jethro Franklin has left for USC to be their DL coach, 2 of the poorer D coaches are now gone. Sherman has to be careful though, if he keeps firing people, his decision making and hiring ability are going to be questioned. However, with that said, Slowik needs to go. His schemes confused the players and during the season, he would practice one style of defense, then on game day, go to a different one. If Sherman wants to fire people, he should fire Slowik ASAP, then waste no time in going after Jim Bates, who was the DC at Miami. I honestly do not know what he is waiting for. He did not take this long to fire Donatell (which I have stated from that day was a mistake), for far less. Sherman needs to let Bates surround himself with whomever he wants for assistant coaches, he knows who will work well with him.
I'm still sick, not sleeping well, and generally in a bad mood. Hopefully the weekend will cure me.
